Mission

The mission of Arnold Creek Productions is to create educational and inspirational media that supports the principles of sustainability and improves the lives of all people.

Founders

Arnold Creek Productions, Inc. was founded in January of 2006 by Douglas Freeman and David Decker. After collaborating for many years on contract projects, they formed Arnold Creek Productions as a joint venture focussing on proprietary media development. Douglas serves as a producer, writer, director and business and marketing manager. David serves as a producer, director, videographer and editor.

Douglas and David also continue to operate their own award-winning companies that serve commercial, non-profit and government clients. Douglas is co-owner of Ideascape, Inc., a media production and marketing communications consulting firm. He has over 27 years of communications industry experience, specializing in writing and project management. David owns Mercury Productions Inc., a video production firm. He has over 23 years of production experience, as a producer, director, videogapher and editor.

Business Affiliations

Arnold Creek Productions, Inc. is a member of the Oregon Media Production Association, Sustainable Business Network (BALLE), Co-op America and the U.S. Partnership Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. We are founding members of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. We received the 2006 Portland Office of Sustainable Development's BEST Award for new product development, has had programs selected for showing at many national and international film festivals, and has earned a variety of media production industry awards for its programs. In 2007, we were certified as a City of Portland Recycle at Work business which signifies our commitment to reduce, reuse and recycle throughout our operations.
